Networking

Planning your networking calendar of events is hard work.

Coming up with fresh ideas, avoiding conflicting dates with public & school holidays, major events, etc to get the best response. Sourcing a suitable venue, providing seating configuration, menu, equipment, marketing campaign, registration details, coordinating guest speakers & breaks, providing name tags, etc is all overwhelming. Pie On a Plate

It’s All About the Pie!

Smoked Brisket & Blue Cheese Pie

Enjoy our house made smoked brisket &blue cheese pie created by our smoked meats chef. We start by selecting premium beef from our local farmers before rubbing with our house made brisket rub to sit overnight & infuse the flavours. We then transfer the brisket into the smoker for 10-12 hours before slow cooking for another 10-12 hours. And that’s just the start…to finish the pie is served with slaw & a pickle.

Everyone loves a High Tea, well this June we’re showcasing Pie Tea!

These teas offer all the delicious components of your traditional High Tea with a twist – you guessed it: pies, both sweet & savoury.

The Old Bank Boutique Hotel is hosting High Tea in the Old Bank, circa 1890, & it’s something special.

Teas are served in front of crackling log fires in winter. A tiered cake stand holds delicately fresh cut sandwiches, little hot savoury pies, dainty cakes, macaroons & tarts, scones, home made jam & whipped cream.  Together with a selection of loose leaf teas or expresso coffee or as an extra treat why not indulge in a bottle of sparkling bubbly?

Christmas In July

Beat the Winter blues with some hearty Christmas Fare!
Travelling by coach through Stanwell Park, a picturesque coastal village & northern suburb of Wollongong, then the Royal National Park & along the spectacular Illawarra route, offering sublime coastal scenery before ascending the Illawarra Escarpment. The Sea Cliff Bridge, together with the adjoining Lawrence Hargrave Drive Bridge, are two road bridges that carry the scenic Lawrence Hargrave Drive across the rockface on the Illawarra escarpment. The balanced cantilever & incremental launching girder bridges link the coastal villages of Coalcliff & Clifton, along the Grand Pacific Drive. A one hundred & forty kilometre scenic coastal drive with meandering bends which reveal vistas of amazing ocean & cliff views. The Sea Cliff Bridge is one of only seven off-shore parallel-to-coast bridges in the world.
The Robertson Hotel invites you to celebrate Christmas in July in the warmth of their grand historic hotel. Over a glass of their house made mulled wine & by the roaring open fire, celebrate the renowned traditional Christmas festivities with family & friends. Built in 1924, the Robertson Hotel originally offered 100 rooms, a country club with a golf course, horse riding, tennis, croquet, lawn bowls, fishing & hunting & of course, a venue for lavish balls, parties & events.
Impeccably maintained, the gardens & grounds of the Robertson Hotel sprawl across 14 acres, & are filled with age-old trees & magical surprises, such as the Grotto, which was built by the Franciscan Friars during their tenure here in the 1940s.
